Qasr Assekhim is located on the top of an volcanic hill about 15 km North to Azraq. The building is a Roman military fort that was part of the fortifications system of the Roman empire oriental border. The square construction conserves an arch as well as the traditional roofing architecture, typical of the Hauran area.
